The Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV), in cooperation with the Presidency of Religious Affairs, continues to extend a helping hand to the people of Pakistan during the holy month of Ramadan.
In its 50th year, the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation seeks to touch hearts and unite souls — linking generous donors with the needy across the world through its Ramadan aid programs.
With the heartfelt theme “Don’t Forget Your Brother, Hoped for one is you,” TDV will spread hope across 81 countries this holy Ramadan. In Pakistan, its dedicated teams and volunteers will bring food and comfort to 13,500 families in 22 cities.
Additionally, TDV will provide iftar meals to 7,000 people through goodness tables set up in Pakistan. During holy Ramadan, the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation will also distribute Eid clothing to 2,500 needy children, with a special focus on orphaned children.
This Ramadan, actor Emre Üçtepe, famous for his role as “Osman” in Diriliş Ertuğrul, is helping bring hope and joy to the needy in Pakistan. As a dedicated volunteer with the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation, Üçtepe will be part of the team spreading kindness across the country.
Aid packages have also been delivered to the recipients in Thatta
In the spirit of Ramadan, TDV brought hope to the people of Thatta, Pakistan, distributing 750 food packages filled with rice, flour, oil, and dates. This generous effort, supported by local institutions and donors, reached those who needed it most, spreading compassion across the community.
Hüseyin Örs, a staff member involved in the aid distribution, emphasized in his speech that Pakistan has always had Türkiye’s support. He said, “Today, we are delivering the food packages and humanitarian aid that our nation has entrusted to us.”
In a heartfelt moment during the Qur’an recitation, the people of Pakistan conveyed their sincere gratitude to Türkiye for its support and generosity.
