This Ramadan, TDV will deliver food, iftar, and Eid clothes to 48,000 people in Sudan, including war victims.
Muhammet Yorulmaz, Sudan Coordinator for the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV), announced that 6,350 food packages were distributed to the needy in Atbara as part of TDV’s Ramadan aid efforts taking place in 81 countries and 437 regions. He noted that around 31,000 people will benefit from the aid, and added that 15,000 iftar meals will be provided and 2,000 children will be proficient in Eid clothing.
Yorulmaz stated, “We will share in their joy, sorrow, and emotions. As the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation, we hope to experience the blessings of holy Ramadan together with our brothers and sisters in Sudan.”
Tahani Mirgani, Minister of Social Affairs for Sudan’s Nile River State, thanked the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation, saying: “The aid you’ve provided in our state for those impacted and displaced by the war is very meaningful. I send my greetings to TDV, may Allah bless you.”
